When changing names for student is Student Manager, this is not automatically changing in Exams Manager, this needs to be a feature as at the moment we are having to edit this manually and to get the names correct is a legal requirement.
When importing candidate details across to Exam Manager I would have assumed it would import the most up to date information held on Pupil Manager, especially in the case of legal names, as exam entries must be made using legal & not preferred names.
Currently, how the system is designed to behave is when a candidate is imported for the first time, their legal surname is used in both fields. If the legal surname is changed in Student Manager, the unchangeable field in Exams Manager is changed, but the editable field does not. This field will need to be changed manually. This needs automating if a name changes in Student Manager.
