The new missed registration alert for teachers does not take into account periods of time when registers may not be taken by these teachers, eg study leave or exam periods.
For example we have a weeks study leave coming up, followed by a few weeks of mock exams for the sixth form. Teachers of the year group will still receive the missed registration alert even though they are not going to be registering the students.
I can also see this affecting teachers in the summer as well, when study leave starts and then exams, followed by students leaving once exams are complete.
